To determine if file is properly scaled to 100% of its output size, right click on the file (PDF or JPG) and select “Open With” in the resulting menu. Select “Photoshop” to open the file.
Follow the instructions in the next three images to determine original dimensions and enlarged dimensions.
Note that 8.5″ x 11″ does not enlarge to 24″x36″, but rather to approximately 24″ x 32″. In this case, the client must either accept this given size or recreate the file at the preferred size. More than likely, this is not something we can fix (unless the edges are a solid color or white) but if we do, any file modification will be charged at $80.00 per hour with a minimum charge of $20.00.
